hehe jag, i've never watched maine pyar kiya, but I did sleep through at an extremely loud theater while "watching" pyar kiya to darna kya. this was in india. i think my driver slept through the film as well. but we thoroughly enjoyed "Keemat" (with Akshay Kumar & Saif Ali Khan) which was released at the same time.
as far as NVNV, I can't remember the last time there was a telugu film that you could enjoy with the entire family. I usually feel awkward when I watch certain scenes in some movies when my family is with me. I just stare at the screen and pretend like though as if I dont understand whats going on. LOL. Veer-Zaara was good in that sense, that you could watch with your family!
anyway, usually the 2nd half of most films are a big dull, but NVNV on the contrary had a better 2nd half than first.
I highly recommend it to everyone :p including Jag :p Devi Sri Prasad's, though not his best work, is better than ANY hindi album that I've heard in over 5 years where a "southie" wasn't associated with the album (Rahman, keeravani, etc), with the exception of Sandeep Chowta. Devi Sri's work is RICH. Can't expect a jaw dropper every album since he has released SO many in the past year alone. I was impressed with most of the songs (Venky, Mass, Arya, SDMBBS, Varsham, Naa Alludu). Hearts off to Devi Sri

BTW, Mani Sharma is still great
