Will post screenshot tonight. Looking at the cover it looks much better than the old version.

BTW, we returned all MovieTime DVDs, since they are (Volga) cassate prints. Watchout before buying any movie time brand.

Pav, did you watch NVNV? What did you think?

dvdunlimited, can you let me know the quality of Sakhi? screenshots will be great

Yes, I did watch it! If you are looking for a recommendation, or if you have doubts about watching this movie....I will clear your doubts for you! Go watch it! :) NO DTS sound, but I still enjoyed the movie.

Sri Hari was fantastic! This is the ONLY movie I feel that he was "good" in! He should be given similar types of small but necessary roles in movies rather than LEAD role. Sidharth was fantastic. Isn't he a tamil guy? Didn't seem like voice dubbing to me. Trisha was cute as heaven(hell). Prakash Raj was great as usual. Devi Sri Prasad absolutely rawks to the core! Prabu Deva did a fantastic job with this FAMILY ENTERTAINER. It's not vulgur by any means (from what I recollect). A movie the whole family can enjoy! Hats off to MS Raju and Prabu Deva! and Sunil as well ;) the next bramhanandam! :D

Varsham was released by Supreme Video. marketed by KAD (if you happened to see their logo on the back cover). I don't know if all the DVD's associated with KAD are 'produced' at the same place, and I haven't seen this particular dvd, but I just watched a couple of songs from Tagore DVD, and I must say it's pretty decent. Well worth the buy, for the songs alone!

I have seen Supremes "Manasantha Nuvve" and was not impressed by any means, but it's the BEST version available.

Varsham is released by Supreme directly and KAD has nothing to do with it.

While the video quality looks decent, it's NOT anamorphic and I thought the audio is DD5.1 and pretty good.

But, pls be careful to play the entire DVD as soon as you get it! We had several customers mail in the DVD for exchange. For some, it kept getting stuck on some DVDs players inspite of replacing them couple of times.

We stopped selling at iDreamDVD.com for a while now. They may have got new batch of replicated DVDs which might be good now.

I had already watched the movie, just wanted to check your oinion. i thought the movie was ok but not worth the hype. The story was old - essentially Maine Pyar Kiya and Pyar Kiya To Darna Kya. The humor was loud and a large part of the first half was artificial.

The good thing about the movie was the screenplay which kept the movie interesting. Trisha was good as usual. I found the songs to be a letdown as far as the video was concerned. Music by DSP was ok but nowhere as good as some of his earlier ones.

I would say the most popular comedian these days is Venu Madhav

hehe jag, i've never watched maine pyar kiya, but I did sleep through at an extremely loud theater while "watching" pyar kiya to darna kya. this was in india. i think my driver slept through the film as well. but we thoroughly enjoyed "Keemat" (with Akshay Kumar & Saif Ali Khan) which was released at the same time. :D

as far as NVNV, I can't remember the last time there was a telugu film that you could enjoy with the entire family. I usually feel awkward when I watch certain scenes in some movies when my family is with me. I just stare at the screen and pretend like though as if I dont understand whats going on. LOL. Veer-Zaara was good in that sense, that you could watch with your family!

anyway, usually the 2nd half of most films are a big dull, but NVNV on the contrary had a better 2nd half than first.

I highly recommend it to everyone :p including Jag :p Devi Sri Prasad's, though not his best work, is better than ANY hindi album that I've heard in over 5 years where a "southie" wasn't associated with the album (Rahman, keeravani, etc), with the exception of Sandeep Chowta. Devi Sri's work is RICH. Can't expect a jaw dropper every album since he has released SO many in the past year alone. I was impressed with most of the songs (Venky, Mass, Arya, SDMBBS, Varsham, Naa Alludu). Hearts off to Devi Sri :D BTW, Mani Sharma is still great ;)

- Location Scouting.

I understand that Anand was a great acheivement by the director. But I hate it when he has to add so many extras essentially telling his story while the movie doesnt get its own disk.

If they make it good, they will get the quality of tagore. kits in your view whats the best KAD DVD as far as video quality is concerned?

Inspite of the messup with the aspect ratio, I think Nuvve Nuvvu might be the best. All their new DVDs with DTS are causing video to be inferior!

What do you think is their best?
