Out on MoserBaer / Moser Baer in India as a 2-disc edition

This one's priced Rs.149.00 -- looks like moserbaer is finding it difficult to sustain the low pricing that began with Rs.35, went on to Rs.45, then to Rs.99.

They can't sustain low prices but they seem to manage to sustain consistently low quality products. I never touch their DVDs.

I assume UTV is taking care of the DVD meant for American/European audiences?

The DVD looks like it is utter trash. It's a shame when we can't even get a decent DVD of the few good movies made in India. I was wondering if we should write to Anurag Kashyap via 'Passion For Cinema' and ask him why he does not care about the quality of his DVDs. Maybe he might take a little more interest in DVDs of his movies in the future and maybe Gulal could be saved from suffering the fate that 'Dev. D' has.

Hi, I'm new to the forum. I'm curious if MoserBaer DVD's are typically as bad as this, there are a few films, like Tahaan, that aren't yet available otherwise and I'm wondering if it is worth it to try and wait for a better version.

According to MusicIndiaMovies.com, Dev D from UTV is in stock. I've never used this retailer, any opinions?

Any idea when the UTV DVD will be released? It isn't normal for the international version to take so long after the indian disc has already been released, is it?
