Anyone seen this DVD on their travels?



I was mainly wondering what the quality was like and whether it was the full film. It's got some of Lata's earliest songs in it - as well as Suraiya (the singing star). A real blast from the distant past!

IT IS FINALLY ON DVD? i don't care about the quality...I have been begging EVERYONE I KNOW in India & elsewhere to find this for me.

So far, I've only been sent an UltraDVD 2-VCD release of this....and it has SUPERTITLED LOGO THROUGHOUT, and also a subtitle that scrolls through every once in a while...with some advertisement...and that is SO ANNOYING...not to mention a small framing

I'll provide screenshots when I get home....

But man...where did you find this? I want to order it! It's one of my all-time favourite movies...


edit: just saw the Nehaflix logo...will order it right away!

Strange also, from what I remember...my VCD release & research saw this as properly titled a "Badi Behen"...not Bari...

It is a great movie - I had it on VHS and loved the songs.

Yes you are right - before I have seen the title spelt as Badi Behan - not Bari as in this case.

Look forward to your verdict on the DVD. I ordered a few oldies last month that I am working my way through so I will probably look to get this next month.

Absolutely crap transfer....and NOW you have the annoying FRIENDS Video logo in the MIDDLE LEFT of the screen THOUGHOUT!!!

Either way, I'm happy I have this. The ultraDVD VCDx2 I have, has an annoying ultraDVD logo throughout and ROLLING ADVERTISEMENTS as well!

WTF??? Bloody logo in the middle of the screen?!

I should just dig out the VHS that my Dad had and get it converted to DVD.

Yeah, I'm annoyed myself...but for 8$US, I won't complain too much...it's much better than my VCDx2 that I have...

This will be the LAST time I get any FRIENDS video DVD...there are plenty more old classics on their label...but now I'll have to stay away. Sound is mono by the way...
