How is the demand and availability of Blu-Ray movies in India?

When I went to Mumbai in January I saw a very small selection of BR discs in one shop. I think it was Planet M at the Inorbit Mall in Malad. IIRC they had Om Shanti Om, Hey Baby, and a few American films like Batman Begins that had the Big Home Video logo on them, so they must be licensing titles specifically for BR. I forget the price, but I think they were the equivalent of about $20 USD.
