AFTER ALL THIS WHAT A BLOODY DUMB MOVIE....IM NOT GONNA ADMIT TO LIKNG IT JUST CAUSE 99.9% LIKE IT OR CLAIMED TO HAVE LIKED IT...THIS FILM WAS A MAJOR DISSAPOINTMENT....

WHO THE HELL DURING THE HYPE ON THIS FORUM LAST WEEK SAID THAT THIS MOVIE WOULD BE FLAWLESS...FAR FROM IT

NO BULID UP TO EMOTIONAL SCENES...THERFORE NO FEELINGS FOR THE CHARECTERS.. UNLIKE KKHH

SCENES MISSIN....MEANING THAT THERE WERE SCENES WHICH SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN A SUBJECT WHICH WAS GOOD....WERNT DONE PROBARBLY BEACUSE GAY BOY KARAN COULDNT HANDLE THEM...SCENES WHIC COULD HAVE BBEN INTENSE

THIS MOVIE WAS A JOKE...WITH THE ONLY PLUS POINT DECNET GAGS (HUMOUR) IN PLACES....AND THE SURAJ HUA MADHAM WHICH WAS STUNNING EXCEPT FOR SRK SPOLING IT WITH THOSE TATTY SEE THROUGH SHIRTS

AB....HRITHK AND SRK....HAVE JUST NOT BEEN USED TO EVEN HALF THIER POTENTIAL...THE STORY DEMANDED IT...

WHATEVER HAPPEN TO DAYS WHEN GOOD MULTI STARRERS BROUGHT AMZING DIALOGUE AND INTENSE SCENES.....TRISHUL....SHAKETI....DEEWAR TO NAME A FEW

WOMEN WERE SHOW AS SECOND CLASS CITIZENS

BRITS SHOWN AS BUNCH OF MILLIONAIRE STAELY HOME LIVING LAMBOURGHINI DRIVING LOONEYS.....LIKE IN MNAY MOVIES

PROMS ARE A STUPID YANKEE TRADITION NOT A BRIT THING...

WHAT PISSED ME OFF IS THE FILM HAD THE POTENTIAL WITH A DECENT SUBJECT...GOO ACTORS..YET THEY DID NOT CAPITALIZE ON THIS

I CANT SAY HOW MANY FLAWS I FOUND IN THIS MOVIE THERE WERE TOO MANY FOR ME.....THE FILM WAS ALSO VERY CLICHED WITH MANY SCENES BEING EXTENSIONS FROM OTHER HITS LIKE KKHH AND DDLJ..

EK RISHTAA WAS MILES BETTER......

WOW! what strong and loud words anwar bro..you made your point of view sound really nice.
Unfortunately, I disagree and found the film to be very entertaining! :DD:

couldnt agree more, anwar !
What a total waste of such excellent talent, so much money and so much of my time !!!!
I think the film was technically very good, good acting, but to what end? It was all so empty and so very predictable !

was a terrible let-down after KKHH . . .

or maybe I have started expecting too much from Hindi films after Lagaan and Dil Chahata Hai !!

well what i do not understand is why do people go into films expecting it to be flawless...... how many films have there been that are flawless?? was ek rishtaa which was supposedly better than k3g was that flawless?? soorry but i slept threu that film which id dint do with k3g...
anyway anwar bhai i respect your opinion for the fact that you have seen the film and judged.... there are some people who have negative opinions about the film without watching it....
anyway i found the film to be very entertaining... definitely kkhh was better but k3g is a very smartly made and rich film......

Ek rishtaa my friends was far from flawless but i enjoyed the film much better especially because i felt the film more stronger emotionally which was a family drama to...about father son relationships...

Guys I have kept quite long enough on this but I can no longer do so. 'Ek Rishta' although not a totally useless film, was quite bad. There was hardly any justification for the actions of a lot of characters in the film. The whole thing about Karishma leaving Akshay was senseless. What was even more senseless was her father prodding her to get a divorce from Akshay. As far as the end is concerned the less said the better.

I have been reading several posts by people taling about how good Ek Rishta is and finally I could take it no more.
As far a comparison with K3G is concerned, I am not in a position to do so yet, since I have yet to see the film.
