Not sure about the runtime on Zee but it was without any combing/interlacing effects.

Did anyone record that broadcast ?? If not, may be the next time it broadcasts in PAL.
As per Ali's comments, it's a PAL broadcast from a Film to PAL transfer and hence default Progressive. Combine that with YRF version 30-40 min longer than Shemaroo and you have the ultimate Sangam DVD.

Hey! I've recorded Sangam on Zee Cinema HD which is terrific ( I went through your posts in the other topic and it was cut exactly where all you said Shemaroo was cut)

Unfortunately, I think I saw combing. :ffs:

Can't confirm now as my TV is AWOL.

Will let know once the repair work is done

UK Broadcast that Ali mentioned on Zee TV was film like, no combing. Direct film to PAL.

Further comments on the Zee Cinema HD telecast : -

• Taken from a restored print
• Looks more like an upscale
• Decent colors, slightly oversaturated in a few scenes
• Dialogs sound clear with minimal hissing
• 4 % speed shift

Ragz, can you post a few screenshots from the Zee Cinema HD broadcast of Sangam (if you still have a copy)?

I still have it recorded on my set top box, but don't have the expertise and equipment to create a copy on computer, unfortunately. Even my TV is crap, so taking screenies from a camera may not give you the best results. But, I'll do it to give you an idea. Just give me some time.
Thanks and apologies for the inconvenience.
