PQ is excellent (except for TNT logo) despite being 25 (perhaps PAL) to 60 (NTSC) conversion field averaged. SS seem to be in Force Weave mode and hence combing in some SS.

Had it been a PAL DVD from the same 25 (PAL) source, it would easily match or even beat Criterion, IMHO, for a 42 year old film. BTW, nothing is cut from it's 1976 CC film print that this one is.

Although this DVD has been listed on Nehaflix for more than a year now (and for the first time since videos arrived that this video became avail) but I didn't want to order on line to avoid customs hassles. From local store, waited almost a year and the store said, TNT is no more and this DVD not really available now. He just located 2 copies and got them. If you can find it on web or elsewhere, grab it. Nice film, exc songs, exc DVD.
