I wish BEI would have done this disc? it would be nothing short than yateem for $9 only..IMHO, Mr. India was better , a lot better transfer by EROS>>

I don't know if I would use "better" to describe any Eros DVD. With them you get mediocre, crappy, or "my dog's poo looks better than this."

I dont think I will end up buying it, but if a friend of mine has the DVD yes.

BTW the Eros shots have already been posted

I have the EROS version which is crappy.
This movie has lavish songs and deserves a good dvd

I remember a big chunk of money was spent on making the opening credits and this flicks dress changes (I think 35) in one dance song. One thing for sure though Sri Devi looked stunning in this flick.

Indeed!For sri's fan, but failed to rekindle magic of mr india!I love Sri's attribute, as switch on, switch off actress in any temperament in less than a second delay.

Yea was a disaster

started 1988, released 1993
Budget : over 10 crore
Lavish songs and designs

I love all Sridevi scenes here

It was called a disaster as it couldnt recover its money
but had 100% intials first few weeks which is not strange

Amitabh Bachchan after he saw the Dushman song sent Sridevi a truck fully loaded with Flowers!!

Though it is called a disaster but I think it is better than many hits that were released later!!
