Stephen, ali, and others, could you please comment on these images, I think, PNG image makes a marginal difference too possibly.

It seems it is like FIZA released by Sparks in UK/EUROPE for DEI/BEI!

The DEI and Spark releases are the same discs.

I prefer the Shemaroo colours (more warm and deeper), but the DEI video is superior in most other areas - sharpness, clarity etc.

Just out of curiosity since Stephen says that SPARK is the same disk as DEI. Let's just assume for one second that the extremely slight yet still noticable colour difference between all comparable screenshots exists because a) one screenshot is a .jpg file n the other is a .png file AND b) between the two comparable screenshots there might be a slight frame change.

But how is it possible that Set 2 (see below) in the DEI disk we get to see this artfact on the face of Sridevi & Salman Khan yet do not see the same artefact on the SPARK disk, I went through every frame of this particular scene (Using VLC, MPC, AVSP, VDubMod) to ensure it is the same disk as Stephen said it is but that verry same artefact is not tracable in the SPARK disk.

Again, the reason why I am asking this is just out of my own curiosity n nothing else.

Ah, I think I have an explanation for that. :)

The shots I originally uploaded were captured from a DEI song compilation which probably had additional DNR applied. The actual DEI movie DVD is definitely the same as Spark's.

Thanks for pointing out the difference.

^Hmm, k thanx for taking time to answer..

By the way, you guys were mentioning there were other DEI/BEI titles released under different banners.
Do any of you know whether those are released under SPARK (or for that mather any other) banner as well and which titles are they?
Cause I have more movies here which are 'KUKs & SPARK Co-Distrubuted' and entitled as European Edition same way as the movie Chaand Kaa Tukdaa.
Since they are of verry good quality I am wondering if the same situation might go for those DVD's as well.

^ I was more talking about a similar list of movies that actually are DEI but not released under DEI banner like the movie Chaand Kaa Tukdaa. The thread you are referring too seems to me like some sort of a fanlist for those who wana keep track of DEI movies for their collection and I'm not at all interested in that.

In the meantime found an easier way to find an answer 8)

Thx for replying anyways!

Edit: In the meantime if anyone interested in the movie Chaand Kaa Tukdaa (SPARK/KUKs/DEI or whatever it may be), my local DVD shop is having this sale in which peepz can buy 4 movies for 10 euro and this movie was amongst those movies that were for sale. For those who live in Holland, this local DVD Shop's name is Govinda Video in The Hague. (Ps. not advertising, just informing those scary DEI fans  )

After going through some 20 DEI/BEI titles, it's come to this. DEI used EXCESSIVE GAMMA correction and I mean excessive. Yes, they got clarity, sharpeness...but they lost the RICHNESS and that's sad...

I am not in UK, but I did import Fiza from UK, once it was released by sparks there, and sunnyaudit told us, so could verify. The rest DEI/BEI released under spark, apollo, ttv , could possibly be varified by my UK, European friends here!

There were some other GOOD releases in UK, better than US, but not DEI, if you could find them.

SPARK also did ANAMORPHIC, VIRASAT and ISHQ.

EROS, JODI #1, DKK were far superior than US releases, same as recent cheeni kum.

HMBPK released in UK was maha superior too.

Yes Boss, anamorphic by EROS is now available in US, I think.

Just a couple heads up.

Some of GVI releases are repackaged too.

IT might be good idea to start a new thread re DEI/BEI repackaged releases in UK/EUROPE ?

^ Nice idea, would actually bring some light into the darkness.

Anyway, I was at the local DVD shop yesterday and told them that the movie Chaand Kaa Tukdaa they were selling actually was a DEI/BEI movie but re-packaged as SPARK. They didn't even know it themselves... Guess I should've kept my mouth shut for potential buyers cause they put those movies back into the shelves for like 19.90 euros each

Out of those movies you mentioned the only one I am sure I have it is the Virasat SPARK version, although I am not sre about it being Anamorphic inless they had the distributing rights for two different versions of this movie.. I also have all other mentioned titles but not sure about the distributors.. Will check them soon 8)
