Is there a DEI-EROS list somewhere in the forums, as I could not find one. The one that came through the search had all the DEI as well as the DEI-EROS titles. I would like to know just the DEI-EROS list.

I bought some titles last night from the 4-5 stores(including whole sale stores)

Muqaddar Ka Sikander

Aatish
Sholay
Deewar

These cost me about $8.00 each. Is it worth getting more for this price.

6 Pages of info on DEI-ERO$ titles...$8 a DVD huh? Is it Canadian or US? If its $8 CND then I thinks its reasonable especially if its original DEI-ERO$ discs and not dupes.

Has any one tried buying DEI-EROS titles, that may or may not be DEI authored ones, from EROS site or from IndiaPlaz site that claim not to sell pirated DVDs. IP site covers are that of DEI-EROS.

It's very likely that EROS, as well as, IndiaPlaza have these titles authored by DEI as there is no one to defend DEI (declared bankruptcy) now. If so, all of a sudden EROS quality has taken a big leap.

BTW UL, harry_rasul was asking for a list of DEI-EROS titles excluding DEI solo ones. The list identifies which ones are DEI-EROS and which ones are DEI solo. Just needs to be sorted. Any volunteers??

Actually its $8.00 U.S. Although a couple of them look like dupes, they seem to be on goldish media. DEEWAR is definitely original, it says DIGITAL ENTERTAINMENT INC on the inner ring, so does AATISH.

I am desperately looking for KARAN ARJUN and RAM LAKHAN. Does anyone know where I can get these. I live in Atlanta, so there are only a few stores here, and I have checked out most of them.

Sarfarosh and Ram Jaane are DEI only titles.
Main Khiladi Tu Anari, Meri Jung and Desh Premee, all DEI/EROS titles are missing on the list.

that is not true, sarfarosh was very much eros title too, i used to have it, as eros claimed DD but was trash sound, just kept DEI orig version.
some of the orig dei only titles are to my surprise are available as eros too, e.g guru dev and many more!!

It's a matter of defining.

Technically, DEI-EROS DVD should be that at any time had EROS logo, as well as, the disc was authored by DEI.

As, DEI EROS split, some titles came out with DEI logo only, as well as, some with EROS logo only with different encoding. For example: Mother India, Sarfarosh, etc. Gupt, I think, came out as DEI-EROS as well as EROS. There are many such DVDs.

What is of interest, however, is a list of DVDs authored by DEI that are not available in DEI/ BEI label any more and are EROS now. These unofficial versions are widely available, that could be being replicated by any one, including BEI, Pirates or EROS themselves.

In this list some other DVDs that DEI authored for companies other than EROS, like Fiza, HDDCS etc., could be included as well.

BTW, it was interesting to see some exclusions from the list that we compiled some time ago, with so much effort. I'll try to correct that listing ( viewtopic.php?p=46812#46812. ) as well.

My point is Both SARFAROSH and GUPT by EROS are different transfers from DEI, or DEI/EROS, whatever the way you put it.

Well, tried correcting Anil's list, but it was complete as it shows up on page 5 of that thread viewtopic.php?p=46812#46812. Only exception was "Hum Se Hai Muquabala" that was found much later.
