JWM, some how I thought was a take on already classic DDLJ, but inferior!

Moser Baer has released two editions of Jab We Met:

1-disc edition as above Rs.49
2-disc edition http://musicyogi.com/asp/movieDetails.asp?movId=MOV5876 Rs.149

But the 5.1 (see posts above) is disappointing on the 1-disc edition (which I am sure is the same as the movie disc on the 2-disc edition and with the same poor 5.1 audio)

Just bought the 2-disc edition too -- it has "The Making" on disc 2 -- quite a waste IMO -- this could have fit easily on the movie disc...
Is it my ears playing tricks? The 5.1 on the movie disc of the 2-disc edition by Moser Baer is actually sounding good -- at least better than that on the 1-disc edition of moserbaer
Anyone else with similar experience?

Anyone else with the same experience on the 1-disc moserbaer versus 2-disc moserbaer?

I would like to add something re: DD 5.1 sound.

If you have professional audio software you can tweak the AC3 channel.

Demux the audio and adjust it to your desired settings...remux if you know how and burn to a new DVD9 DL disc (or 2xDVD5).

I have had that done by a friend who is an audiophile. Also, since BW can't author a DVD correctly...nor can many of them record audio properly as well. Prime example is that of Vivah & Eklavya...if you analyse the AC3 DD5.1, you'll notice quite a bit of problems.

Remember! I always said your remastered discs, in whatever format always sounded better in DD 5.1 formt! 8) much more cleaner and detailed. Just listened to Madhur's payal sound in Aaja Nachle :D

BTW some yrf films are flat on bass in DD 5.1, e.g BNB , that I adored audio CD but hated their dvd sound. Is there any way tha BASS could be brought back?

It is like experiencing a hindi film with DTS soundtrack in the theater with only back up dlby surround( I absolutely hate that experience that makes that entire big screen experience mundane/mute.

Got the OSO DVD yesterday - have to agree - 5.1 sound sucked! We were watching the songs and my wife said 'What's wrong with the sound?' We switched to the stereo soundtrack and it was much better than the 5.1 sound which was quite uneven and badly moxed. Oh and the picture sucked as well.
