Shahran Sunny Audit or anyone have any updates on the blu ray?
hope that they use doby truehd or dts hdma
by the way out of curiosity how long does it usually take to author a blu ray? and would it take longer for indian films since they are longer, or about the same amount of time as a hollywood movie?

I just saw this post - apparently from EROS on blu-ray.com (http://www.blu-ray.com/news/?id=856)

Hi,

It has been seen from EROS International that the following announcement is
not true and not certified by Eros International.

http://www.blu-ray.com/news/?id=856

The claim above seems to be false and it would be appreciated if the
following thing is immediately taken off the site.

Please do it as soon as possible since it might become a legal issue for us.

Also please do inform us once the announcement has been removed.

What about this news

I can confirm that a blu-ray version of this film is currently being done. From what I heard (through a very realiable source) the blu-ray is being done in LA from the film's original source. I don't know if that means the 4k DI file, or a 35mm Negative made from a DI.

No release date is set.

You know there is a point where people just lose interest in the HD movie altogether.
Remember Dil Cha tha hai ? where did that HD go?

There will come a point where we just end up getting the regular dvd versions as those are all that's available, then wont bother getting the HD version anyway.

I actually have a VERY VERY LOW expectation of what they will give us anyway for their HD movies!!!
This is after having been amazed at the so called DVD quality of so many previous releases!
I'm not naming names of companies who have put out rubbish quality dvds.

EROS
