Thanks :-)
Would be nice if you can edit the first message and insert the WEG details there as and when you get them.
The GVI AR seems to be 1.48:1. Can you add this to your GVI message?
I have the T-series YBR edition -- this may or may not be the exact same as the standalone T-series version. Will try to get specs and post shots...
(Can the title be modified to Aankhen (1993) WEG vs GVI vs YBR (T-Series) ?)

The theatrical sound mix was stereo... right? And theatrical runtime was 170 minutes? Also see viewtopic.php?f=1&t=9458&hilit=aankhen

Okay all done, I will add the WEG details once I get the DVD which is most likely 2nite. Ive edited both messages as u asked (sorry I am not good in telling the aspect ratio), please if u can post some screenshots if possble.

As Aankhen was a low budget film, i doubt it was dolby digital so it could of been stearo as dolby digital was expensive at the point

Aankhen YBR (T-Series) DVD

REGION All

CASE
1) The YBR 3-disc Govinda collection comes in a 3-disc keep case with an outer sleeve
2) The T-series single disc edition comes in a keep case, but not sure if it's the same exact disc. The T-series single disc is also available in a cardboard pocket case now.

DISTRIBUTOR YBR (T-Series)

VIDEO NTSC Non-anamorphic 2.40:1 -- looks like UNCROPPED :)! But PQ is low :-(

AUDIO Hindi Dolby Digital 5.1 (but separation is not evident - could be a mono feed)

SUBTITLES None

RUNTIME 02:49:22 (full version)

EXTRAS None (but starts with a T-Series anti-piracy campaign)

Thanks Newdeep, u have completed my thread, seems WEG version is far better in terms of PQ. I heard eros have the rights now they have uploaded a few clips on youtube.

Im glad I dont have the t-seris version. Btw what is Dulhe Raja like?

Allow me until next week to check out Dulhe Raja.

I prefer the T-series / YBR Aankhen because it is uncropped ;) while the others are significantly cropped -- had the others been at least 2.10:1, I'd have then rated them higher than T-series / YBR...
