Arsh, can you change the name of this topic to
Raiders of the Sacred Stone (1978) / SHALIMAR
Thx:)

I got the Razor edition...

It has a 3-D option! Yes, you can watch the movie in 3-D (with 3-D glasses) -- even though the movie is not in OAR

Also, there's this one scene that has Dharam in bed with a blonde -- I don;t think this was in the Hindi version... was it? "Hum Bewafa..." I think is meant for this fun Dharam has when Zeenat discovers the two in bed.

razor one was bad!!
in what way... and did Dharam speak his own lines or did some western dubbing artiste record for him?

both look bad in full screen, the eros hindi one is in OAR. Dharmendra had an English tutor to speak in the English one, but his voice was dubbed by someone else even though he mouthed English. All others (zeenat, Shammi) spoke English in their own voices. About an hour is cut from English one compared to Hindi.

does anyone have eros?
what's the runtime?

=

I just got the Rs. 34/- Moser Baer edition that has Moser Baer and Bombino logos on the case.

Non-anamorphic but with almost uncropped video
Runtime 2:26:50 (including 9 secs of Moser Baer logo and info)
NTSC
Optional English subs
Audio options - 5.1 and 2.0 (movie was mono originally?)

4345.2 m @ 90 ft per min = 158 min.

As Newdeep noted, 70mm print had stereophonic sound.

The movie was shot in 70MM and the sound recorded in 24 tracks. It was released in 70MM with six track stereophonci sound, which is what I watched at Shiela cinema, first day, first show. :)

Bombino Version: (anyone have any idea about this?)

Image

I am just hoping that its a PAL transfer as most of the DVD's released by Bombino during 2004-2007 were PAL.
Shalimar seems to one of them

No, The bombino version must be far neater then moserbaer!!

I dont think all of the moserbaer dvds have took the same source as the Bombino ones.

One fine example, Baazigar
