Both the Kaleidoscope and Sony releases are identical except for the 'K' watermark on the former.

So are both K and Sony versions without any audio in the speech/centre speaker?
Sad! Because overall the audio is nicely loud and powerful on Sony (like Moser Baer Apne) but looks like Guru is also "garbled" at places because of badly executed pitch correction.

Talking about Moser Baer, check this out!!!

Tamil version of Guru on Moser Baer! But looks like no subtitles?

There is a very good DVD of Guru available from German label Rapid Eye Movies which is proper PAL and has the correct 5.1 audio included. No garbled sound either. Definitely the best version to get.

is this the same German dvd (Alive - Vertrieb und Marketing/DVD) -- http://www.amazon.de/Guru-Abhishek-Bach ... 604&sr=1-1 or is there another one in Germany?

What about this Asian Gold edition? Same as Adlabs? http://www.amazon.co.uk/Guru-Abhishek-B ... 209&sr=1-2

There's only one German version - 'Alive' are the distributors along with 'Rapid Eye Movies'.
