Here is a 2in1 DVD I just found including those scenes and is 2hrs 55mins.

I think this might be the full version of the movie according to BBFC:
Quote:
The main spoken language in this work is HINDI.

When submitted to the BBFC the work had a running time of 184m 36s.
The running time of this film was calculated from the measured length of 16614+4 ( feet + frames ).
This work was passed with no cuts made.

At the time of classification Apollo Video was the distributor of this film.

Directed by Mukal S Anand Producer(s)

The cast for this work includes: Amitabh Bachchon, Kimmy Kathar.

A film or video, together with associated trailers may exist in several versions and all versions known to the BBFC are listed below.

Category Type Date Company Run Time Cut Title
Film Film 31/01/1991 Apollo Video 184m 36s No HUM
Video Video 01/02/1991 Apollo Video 176m 31s No HUM
Details are likely to be more complete and accurate for the version submitted most recently.
When a film is transferred to video the running time will be shorter by approximately 4% due to the differing number of frames per second. This does not mean that the video version has been cut or re-edited.

It might interest you to know that in India, two versions were screened in theatres -- one with the training sequences of the phony Kader Khan and one without...

so i guess the longer cut has all these scenes- including another where Govinda is break-dancing outside while Amitabh is praying inside.

So the print they got hold of for the better DVDs was the edited version, and the DVDs with those extra scenes are from video masters - therefore a softer picture.

Sengh_15 you have already mentioned EAGLE version in another HUM Thread (Click Here). Do not create dupe threads, keep related material in one consistent thread. Thanks!

Original Thread: HUM (1991) on DEI? [MDE DVD Shots] [KMI DVD Shots]

Merged..
