Haven't seen the movie yet. But most people like it significantly better than Anand. Anand IMO was a boring dud, but it was different from the tripe that they normally dish out.

Godavari's songs don't have a repeat value. Nothing stands out, but then again I didn't listen to it thoroughly since none of the songs caught my attention. Hopefully, this might change when I eventually watch the movie.

I liked that Anand was not the same old masala stuff, but I'm hard pressed to remember what its even about. I guess it didn't make much of an impression on me.

honestly, I slept throught most of Anand. No exaggeration. But at the same time, considering the indian cinema scene is ruled by "masala", this film was a whiff of fresh air. Although, I probably would be saying the same of RGV/Chakravarthi's non-masala "Madhyanam Hatya" (My Wifes Murder????) had I seen the film.

BTW, My Wife's Murder is awesome
