yup that's the voice i heard. it's not Amitabh Bachchan. the film didn't flop because of the voice dubbing (although, it played a part in the critic's response to AB's performance--good yet if the voice was there, could have been better), the film flopped because keshu's son couldn't carry the film.

Arsh, no: I don't think that the majority of the audience walked out of the theater thinking, "man, that movie was awesome, but it was made total shit because some of Amitabh Bachchan's lines were dubbed by someone else." Though I think that it has been proved in the past (Agneepath, wherein Bachchan had to re-dub all his dialogues, when the audience didn't appreciate his experimental "raspy voice") Amitabh's voice is a big part of a film, I don't think that that factor alone contributed very greatly to the movie's failing. That said, I do think that it was indicative of the "don't-give-a-fuck" attitudes of the producers; the dubbed voice, the un-dubbed voice segments, the shoddy editing, the truly strange plot elements; these were the things that led to a sub-par film. I maintain that the movie is going under-rated, but I'll hardly defend that it's "good."

Everyone's entitles to his or her opinion, but, if you'd like to know what I thought of the film (as well as what other members here thought), check out the following link: http://zulm.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=7246&start=45. Where did you "download" the film from? I know you can get plenty of Hollywood films from P2P software, but where do you get Indian films from? Do you have to pay? Any info. would be much appreciated. Thanks! :D

I caught the lipse, as well. I think it's kind of cold to ridicule him for that. My main problem with him was simply the fact that he didn't perform very well.

I just watched the DVD. What can I say? I was dead wrong. In some of the scenes (e.g., the "gunda gathering" scene), it's OBVIOUS that it's not Amitabh Bachchan's voice. In some scenes — prior to the interval, especially — however, I swear that it is Bachchan, himself.

AB dubbed the first half, however he doesnt have much a role in the first half.. however the second half its done by someone else and is shite...

Throughout it was dubbed .. the ending it just had to be AB and therefore didnt dub it, instead used his original voice from during the shoot. I think in every intense scene they kept his original and every other scene was dubbed.

Just my 2 cents :)
