I believe so ... one time I saw a Samrat DVD with titles of MDE listed inside :sus: Also I bought Thanedaar made by MDE before which was full screen and later bought the Samrat version hoping it would be better PQ and widescreen at least but turned out to be the same print except with subtitles and moving menu ... also the disc had MDE printed on it! :rolleyes:

I noticed on Jolly's website that there is a GVI version of HUM on DVD. Any idea what the quality of that version is like??

Am I right in saying that the Amitabh film 'Hum' was released by DEI alone? I saw the dvd cover at indiancdstore.com with a big AB face holding his fist with a white border around it.

also in 2000, i saw i sharp source being broadcast on B4U TV. Could this be the DEI version? It also had same cropping ratio which DEI used to do and sharpness of image compared to other dvds.

someone please enlighten me.
(p.s :indiancdstore.com are selling another Hum dvd now by apollo)

There was Hum release Media Digital (Inc) but don't ever remeber it on release by D/BEI. There's also a T-Series DVD;
