Also, at the end of the movie, The End pops up and it plays two seconds again.

Can't miss it

Same glitch, must be source problem. Amazing guys, considering the duration of the glitch we must be watching films very keenly. I only care if they have more serious disk problems like hanging (stop playing the disk on more than one occasion).

I just recently got the VideoSound version of Namak Halaal from my local library (I can post screenshots, if someone would like me to). Let me just say, atrocious; it's just a disturbingly bad DVD. OK, so it's not so bad as the Mard DVDs, or anything, but it's still pretty bad. The colors aren't quite right, the picture is stretched...there aren't even any subtitles. :?

there is also an EROS version (not DEI/EROS). Does anyone know if it is the same DEI transfer or EROS's own version?

I have now purchased a copy of the NAMAK HALAAL EROS DVD.
The only good things are:

the cover design is better than DEI,
film shown in Original Aspect Ratio
Film is ANARMORPHIC

bad things:
not progressive
not re-mastered (very raw looking)
reel marks and jumping

I’ve split the previous thread into this Eros DVD of Namak Halaal. If you need FTP space for images to upload larger versions send me PM and I'll sort one out.

Aye, can you post larger shots.
Does this one also have the problem of repeating frames ?

no repeating frames because its a different transfer/source all together.
I will try to post bigger shots, i am new to posting images. (those were my first ones)

If you have any easier/common method please let me know in private messages to avoid wasting forum space.
