Bought yesterday the Spark Release (R2UK) of this movie. This one <Click>. Don't know how the packaging is of the Viva release, but this one is a digipack.

Really liked this movie, especially Sohail Khan & Arshad Warshi they were hilarious !

SE.

BTW. The info on Play is wrong, this DvD doesn't have any special features ;).

Which of the two versions is better, or are both the same ??

T Series has a higher bit rate (5.5 mbps vs 5.2 mbps) and has excess colors.
Despite marginally lower bit rate, I liked the Viva print better ?? Picture looked sharper. I wondered if TS could be PAL to NTSC converted ?? Run time on both versions is identical and matches run time on CC (3980 meters or 224-225 min). Viva (lower bit rate) is Pseudo-Progressive and TS one is Field Averaged (It's not PAL to NTSC as speed is not shifted by 4%; NTSC to NTSC and still field averaged).

T Series DVD that I got is 6.86 GB. Viva is only 6.42 GB and also has 'Now Avail' and 'Forthcoming Attractions' segments that's not in T Series. Both discs have an extra recording for songs.

Good that you asked me. It gave me a chance to look at that Dbl Dbl (image) problem.

This double image doesn't seem to be encoding problem. It's scene transition in film print (that must have been used) that goes on for full one second (30 video frames). Encoding related double image should end in 1 to 3 video frames. There are encoding related dble images, missing limbs etc in individual screen shots (cheap encoding and or chroma lag) but not like this. Still, basically the encoding is Pseudo-Progressive (every 5th frame same as 4th) and perhaps Farooqbhai can make this into Prog DVD ??
