Karam
When a cinematographer narrates a tale, be assured of picture perfect frames.
-----------------------
In some widescreen films I see good framing but often I see imporoper framing in Indian widescreen films. I'm bothered about face shots of chin at the bottom of the screen, just above the eye lids at top of the screen and yet more than half of the screen is empty widthwise. I also hate heads chopped off in widescreen films while the screen is empty widthwise. These shots will come perfectly if on 16:9 screen. It's fine if these chopped heads etc are in a small percent of the frames, but as it turns out widescreen (2.35:1) is required/ justified in under 5% of the shots. Just to make 5% of the shots perfect, why spoil 95% of the film??
I'm asnxious to see how this cinematographer narrating this tale composed his frames??
