Any idea if VS succeeded in replicating the DVDs properly??
Remember VS DVDs done by Super Digital that were Progressive changed to Interlaced ones when they were copied by VS themselves??

I really cant find out any difference between the DEI and the new VS version of HDDCS dvd. Its a carbon copy of the DEI version. I have the 2 disc version of DEI but the movie does not run after the first half so I had it replaced with the VS version and no complaints till now.

I think that listing is just for info purposes. If you try ordering it, it'll more than likely just be the Video Sound version you'll get.

I don't remember Raja Ko Rani Se Pyar Ho Gaya ever coming out on a DEI DVD. But DEI did have a habit of putting upcoming/intended release covers on their current DVDs – hence that DVD cover. I remember a thread discussing this before but can’t find it now.

When this thread was started, a link given in this thread had a DEI sticker on "Raja Ko Rani Se Pyar Ho Gya" DVD. I can't find that picture now.

As all other films named in this thread did have Progressive encoding (by Super Digital) in their original release, I wanted to check out "Raja Ko---" hoping to find it Progressive. Finally found the original version for rental.

It sure was 24 fps Progressive and DD5.1 @ 448 kbps (not sutre if true 5.1 or same audio in all 5.1 channels). Video Bit rate is around 4.5 mbps. Disc has Super Digital markings and the original release was dual layer on Gold Media. As no Indian DVDs were Anamorphic then, so was this. It's just like all other DEI letterboxed DVDs of that time. Can't say if DEI really authored it or not, but SD and DEI did have collaboration on some DVDs where SD did author for DEI and perhaps DEI did for some SD DVDs.

Good Find.

Could you please post the cover of the new Videosound version of HUM DIL DE CHUKE SANAM? If I'll ever find that version here, I surely will buy it.
