I'm having some downloading trouble through this site. But it's cool, I'll wait. My local record store will be stocking Parineeta music in the coming week, until than, I'd like to know how you feel about the music hal?

The Shreyal Ghosal Part is actually a "Nazrul Geeti" (songs by Kazi Nazrul Islam).. of the same name... I was not getting it for quite some time.

miyan, I liked chitra after long time again, in her kinda song, perfect choice!
only soar thumb is dhinak dhina, that has been done in roja style with inferior results!!

but 1/5..excusable!

all zulmi who liked parineeta, I would recommend to chack some of shantanu's pop albums to expand your horizons.

next music to watch for is PAHELI, where Gulzar sahab, join hands with no one else but M M KAREM..pretty courageous for sissy khan to show gutts here.

song on previews is pretty good though

Well, the songs are up now on musicindiaonline if you want to check it out. I love the songs. Terrific album and one that I would place on par with "Bose". Only weak song is "Dhinak". The rest are just pure magic. Shantanu Moitra has a bright future ahead.
