Let's hope this discussion doesn't get side tracked into a possible movie name 'Fall Divorce' or 'Spring Baby'. :D :D

More than a year gone by and still a $ 20, Paisa Vasool Question:

Where is the Paisa Vasool, Sukhvinder song 'Rabba Rabba Meen Varsaa'??
Did I miss it??

I have seen video clips of this song on TV and perhaps in some song DVDs, but it's not in the Monsoon Wedding R1 DTS DVD (113 min). There only is a few segments of this song during end credits.

What good DTS without this Hi-Octane song??

I think it is only in the end credits and not in the body of the film. According to the Amazon listing of the songs it is called "Aaj Mera Jee Kardaa."

But, I have seen the actual video of that song on TV.

BTW, isn't 'Aaj Mera Jee Kardaa' song different than 'Rabba Rabba Meen Varsaa' ??

I don't believe we're talking about 2 different songs. I don't know about the film version, but the mp3 I have starts out with "aaj mera jee karda" then goes into "rabba rabba meen varsa."

So, it's the same song. I have seen it's full video version on TV. If it's not in the film, it must have been filmed but didn't make it in the final cut. I'm sure, it's video version is avail somewhere. Where??

It was a RAIN background song, in MW! Which video? a la BHOOT style, Picturized on SUKHWINDER?

The TV clips I saw have more video than in MW end credits. One group dance that I saw in the video, is similar to what's in the movie, but not exact that scene. It must have been the Baraat scene. It could be a Sukhvinder Video, but looks like filmed for the film (La Bhoot style) and didn't make it into the final cut.

Wow the Criterion DVD looks awesome for the abundant shorts, I have the regular DVD which is has awesome behind the scenes extras and interviews, but the Criterion seems tempting for the extra short movies.

Is the Criterion worth it for the extra movies?

Where in Toronto is it available at a decent price?

the BluRay was spectacular - too much grain for MY personal tastes...but the shorts are spectacular :)
Well worth the wait...

NOW waiting for Criterion edition of "Wings of Desire" - one of the best movies EVER made.

Monsoon Wedding was shot on Super 16, so it will naturally be a little grainy.
