Has anyone encountered any problems with DCH (Spark) DVD's? I've got 2 of the DVD's, they both used to work fine until I tried them this weekend gone! I find they now break up at Chapter 18 (I think, it's Chapter 18, it's the where the boy's are in they car after the b/day party). I got the DVD from IW and India CD Store, could it be a batch problem perhaps? They both worked fine until just recently. I've tried them on different DVD players to but no joy ....... HELP!! I don't want to end up with a 3rd DVD of DCH that'll work for only 8 months!

Spark's DVDs are subject to DVD rot - they deteroriate over time. It is not advisable to re-invest in the same brand.

I never bought any Spark dvds, but do their newer dvds such as Bhoot, Saaya, Haasil, etc. also have these problems, or is it just DCH? And, is it the same type of cheap media used for their newer releases also?
And, if possible, could someone give me their e-mail or website, if they have one? thanks

SPARK do not reply to emails. All my Spark titles are faulty, including KAAM-CHOR, SHARAFAT and GEHRI CHAAL.

Here is their website: http://www.sparkworldwide.com

Well yea, true. Since its a good movie, they know people are going to buy it thinking its a "new" version. Anyways, I wrote to them, and I'll keep you guys posted if I hear something.

As I had suspected, I too have e-mailed Spark but no luck with a reply, can anyone advise any alternatives to DCH DVD besides Spark and where I could buy it on-line?

Get a 2 in 1 from pak webstore or order DCH from amazon as they will honour your statutory rights so you can exchange everytime it shows signs of rot.

I never got a reply from them either. As much as I hate to say this, the pirated version is much better. My ex had baught (not caring as long as she could play it) and when I told her that she should have gotten the original, she said "Your original doesn't even work and you paid more than twice for it". I had nothing to say after that.
