The chemistry of the Rajesh Khanna - Sharmila Tagore pair sparkles in this artistically acclaimed film, directed by Basu Bhattacharya. Aavishkar explores domestic diaspora with conviction, as Khanna and Tagore struggle to save their crumbling marriage. Rajesh Khanna won his last Best Actor Filmfare Award for Aavishkar.

Aarkayne - The slap drama reminds of Sanjay Khan's controversial slap to Zeenat Aman in public, ending their short-lived marriage!

Arsh - Indeed, AAVISHKAR is certainly not a bollywood masala type movie. It has only one or two songs, and the pace is rather slow, but the dialogues are excellent. Its told in a rather unusual style, with lots of flashbacks and flashforwards. Very artistic, almost a documentary as to why marriages fail...
