It mentions the possibility of international shipping on shemaroo's website, but it doesn't seem thats going to happen. In UK, the only place that have a wide range of shemaroo dvds is indiandvdfilms.com. The cost is about £18.00 per dvd (= US $30.00, out of interest), much more than even YashRaj stuff!

This is the PQ you get from copied and field averaged authoring. Remember, many of these Shemaroo film DVDs are at a much higher bit rate and are Pseudo-progressive as well.

Vibrant colors and good looking picture is perhaps due to nice equipment that Shemaroo has to put life back in faded prints. I wish, Shemaroo discovers the technique of Progressive authoring and we'll have state of the art NTSC DVDs.

Well, u guys want my opinion? Collection is VERY GOOD!

PQ, is Kinda inconsistent, some better than other, overall, vibrant colors. As rana said, these are single layer/low bit rate/.

I think, these songs are done before orig movie is done , so subsequent film dvd will be lot better, if u ask me? as some of these songs transfer show, unprocessed prints..

A number of these films are on BEI list, except PRINCE, I think?and Jewel Thief(btw..EROS Jewel Theif is pretty decent too..)

I agree, even a field averaged shemaroo disc, looks better than others..I think, I omitted RTGM/SSS songs, that are really GOOD TRANSFERS..

OH, I think, SHARMILA TAGORE, shot is from YAKEEN, and I think, DEI did that movie? I dont have that though..

So, overall..INCONSISTENT, some songs are nOT THAT GOOD to look at.

Their ARREHMAN collection had better overall, consistent PQ, and I think, they r doing GHAII, and Anil Kapoor collections too..

Was YAKEEN really done by DEI??

If it ever was avail, I would have grabbed it, or did I miss it??

Isn't it the movie with song:
Bach Ke Bach Ke Bach Bach Ke Bachke Kahan Jaaoge

Yes! That's the one. It also has a male version of "Gar Tum Bhula Na Doge" by Rafi.
