Watched the DVD last night!!

It is a CLICHFUL, CARBON COPY of THE ROCK..

If, u have not seen THE ROCK..Watch and ENJOY the ACTION(esp..CLIMAX..FILMED VERY WELL)

I bet!! even Theatric print, will have MUTED colors!! too?

DVD..NOT WORTH BUYING!!

Ajay..Back to pavillion to his CHOR/ACTION..Trade Mark..he pulls it up well..but Still, I prefered SHAWN CONNERY!

Sanjay Kapoor/Arbaz..NEW VILLIANS IN BUILDING>>(Wait till Abhishek, joins the BANDWAGON)

Neha Dhupia..Passe!! She looks like SKINNY ..ESHA DEOL..with NO SCREEN PRESENCE at all..

ISHA KOPIKAR..as VAMP..I was not IMPRESSED!!

Reema sen..Looks CUTE!! EXPOSE enough to please, but Thats all about it..

SHETTY...Took, over, where SUNNY left..Bashing the SARHAD KE USS PAR..Ordinary act!

NEW GUY..in Nicholas Cag Role..was OK!

AJAY's LOVE STORY , with MULTIPLE, SONG IN SONG activity was jUST non sense, holding the film, for 40 minutes..

OVERALL>>If u have not seen THE ROCK...and u are DEAD CORE, ACTION/AJAY/SHETTY fan!! Go watch it..

2 songs have SLEEZE OOMPH..to Please FRONT BENCHERS>>

IMHO..QAYAMAT..will appeal to SMALL SECTORS, INLAND viewers, Who appreciate and patronize, flicks like APD/JAAL/MTSH/ etc etc!!

AGAIN..for cLIMAX, SAnjay Gupta/alan Amin..did a VERY GOOD JOB, for a bOLLYWOOD FLICK..

MUSIC.was just ordinary..Back Ground music..IMHO, did not SYNC well..courtesy N-S using MIDDLE EASTERN tunes for background!! :nopity:

DVD...Below average for ACTION FILM..SOUND was OKish..5.1, but not that GREAT!

I UNDERSTAND!! I Intentionally focused, after distracting my self, from action, why these meditranean tunes..all the time, over/over...

I agree..it is NOTHING NOTICEABLE!! That sums my point!! :baaa:

This was the most pathetic movie I have seen in a long time now !.. Completely ruined the taut thriller The Rock !.. It was actually an insult watching the stupid acting in the movie.. The SFX was crap... Rima Sen (teh most useless actress I have ever seen till todate !) & Neha Dhupia (ahem what was she trying to do while aping Halle Berry / Ursulla Andress in the Bikini scene ? ) ....
Congress pls replace GADAR with this movie, as the worst amongst them all :D

I picked up Qayamat in 2in1.

Surprise. It's pseudo-progressive. Still, stay away from 2in1 as the pic is sretched letterboxed.

Instead:
Try to find the original which should be Pseudo-progressive and anamorphic. Which version was used for the 2in1 that I picked up, can't say.

Rana, the menu of the 2in1/Qayamat movie should gie you an idea on which DVD it came from...but if the 2in1 menu was redone that its hard to say...
