Is there any way to put MPEG2 files (SVCD quality 480x480) on a DVDr disc to be played as a SVCD on DVD players? What I am really asking is that is there a way to make a DVD+R disk an SVCD?

whyMe.. ive done it.. but its kinda long winded. and the encoding tools take ages.. the best way to do it is to play the disc on a dvd player and record it off using a DVD recorder. .. thats the best way to do it!!

Why do you have to re-encode them? Its already in SVCD mpg. Will it work if I select all the files (6 files each approx. 750MB, two movies) and use nero to burn as SVCD DVDr?
