A while back, Sunny Audit said at the main forum that Ayngaran International were going to re-release both Kannathil Muthamittal & Kandukondain Kandukondain DVDs with DTS sound and with some interesting extras. Does anyone remember when exactly Ayngaran were planning to do this? SOMEONE...please update me. Thanks in advance.

the releases was to be mid 03 but with Ayngaran busy working on installing new DVD authoring/encoding software the re-releases look certain to be delayed...don't know how long....but watch this space...

Sunny, correct me if I am wrong, but were these two titles re-released recently with a new cover and probably 16/9 compatibility?

Kannathil Muthamittal was always 16:9 enhanced. Kandukondain Kandukondain was among the first discs Ayngaran released, and it was cropped to about 1.85:1. They later released a 16:9 enhanced version in a silverish cover.
