I am very happy with subs on indian DVDS, but some need some serious improvement, ie - Tamil DVDS.
i hope in the future when bollywood movies get better, and it should target indian audience of all language and should include regional Subs.

Thats nothing. I just saw the Tamil Pyramid DVD of 'Mayee' starring Sarath Kumar, and on one song, the chorus is translated as :

'WHAT IS THE CAMEL DOING IN THE HUT? HOW IS THE GREEN LEAVES CAUGHT FIRE?'

How is anyone supposed to understand this? Seriously, if you check out the DVD, that is the translation. Its actually much worse if I remember.

Pyramid frequently puts the translated dialogue of two speakers on the same line. For example:

Instead of this:

-How are you?
-I have a fever.

They put:

How are you? I have a fever.

But my all time favorite subtitle is the one for Chupke Chupke during the goo/go dialogue, where part of the subtitle says "(In Hindi 'goo' means 'shit!)" or something very similar.
