I just got the "Shaheed Udham Singh" dvd (dei) from a local store. The quality is great, but the artwork on the disc doesn't look too authentic. That's why I was little concerned. Also, its on a silver disc, and its non-anamorphic, and the picture is also cropped. Can someone please confirm if I got the right one. And, if possible, can someone please post some shots. Thanks a lot.

Yes!! Sunny's GADAR and SHAHEED BHAGAT SINGH, both seem to be HEAVILY INFLUENCED from this film!!

Great songs too:

One copied from Pakistani, song with punjabi flavour:

" tha yakeen ke aayengi woh raatan kabhi, unse hovaengi, mulaqataan kabhi: wow!!

That shot with JESSIE girl, from JAN, is from this song...Cheers!!

this movie was okish.. not bad.. i liked the soundtrack actually had some really good songs in it!! as for the movie... Gadar was not a copy of this movie.. Gadar was a copy of Shaheed E Mohabbat which starred gurdaas maan... and that film must easily be my favourite Punjabi film!! its just kool!! and the DEI/Eros disc of that is excellent too!!
