I think they made some nice movies together.
I've seen Swarg Se Sunder, Pyari Behena, Pyar Jhuta Nahin.
Which others were really nice..a short storline would be appreciated, as I'm planning on buying a few on your recommendation.
:wot:

Being a HUGE fan of MITHUNda(and seeing all his films in the 1980s), here are some other MITHUN-PADMINI films which are worth a view(and also some that are not):

1:) HUM INTEZAAR KARENGE (another poor Mithun-rich Padmini film but some decent performances and great songs by BAPPI LAHIRI) Overall rating: 7/10

2.) AISA PYAR KAHAN (typical social film of the 80s with JEETENDRA and JAYA PRADHA) Overall rating: 7/10

3.) DAATA (a dacoit film, with a communal backdrop, typical Mithun fare) Overall rating: 4/10

4.) HAWALAAT (over-the-top 80s action multi-starrer flick, SHATRUGAN and RISHI KAPOOR also, not recommended) Overall rating: 4/10

5.) MUDDAT (BAPPI's songs, KADAR KHAN's dialogues make this court-room drama click) Overall rating: 7/10

6.) SAAGAR SANGAM (rural setting for this social Mithunda flick, supporting cast includes NANA PATEKAR, music by BAPPI again) Overall rating: 6/10

Unfortunately I don't believe a single one of these is available on DVD yet, so just look for a good video MASTER PRINT somewhere to enjoy these 80s gems. Good Luck :)

 Thanks for the info Hero76!!
You mentioned one (and gave it 7/10)that I was really interested in, that's Hum Intezar Karenge...I
guess I'll definitely get that one..
Watching it on VHS is okay by me!
Did you see Agnee?...as I also thought he and Amrita were good together (Loved Charanon Ki Saughand!!) ;)

Yep, saw AGNEE, was a decent flick for it's time. Couldn't get over the MOTHER'S MILK references in the film though. Another lesser known MITHUN-AMRITA film is the 1986 flick KARAMDAATA, which is so-so(5/10). I have a good master print of CHARNON KI SAUGHANDH which I watch every now and then. That truly was a complete Mithun flick.
