As one of Salman or Aish had to go, I wonder if Sanjay had retained Aish and replaced Salman with Aamir, Shahrukh, Vivek, Ajay, Sunny, Bobby or Hritik??

She looked great in REFUGEE because that was her debut and the audiences were watching her for the first time...she was extremely competent but that should not be confused with her range......look closely and you'll find all her performances the same....there she played a spoilt/brattish rural girl and she has continued playing the same in an urban milieu.....i think her range is seriously limited.....

I agree in REFUGEE, SHE WAS CLAD, STILL BRATT, SAR PHIRI LADKI, who will achieve the man at any cost, and she does it!!

Later she came OUT OF CLOSET, bacame UNCLAD BRATT..poo..

I think, if she CONCENTRATE more on her EXPRESSIONS, DIOLOGUE DELIEVRY, MANNERISM, than HER- NAVEL OVER SHOW(deleted partly in khushi by cENSOR BOARD)

In 10 yrs, like KARISHMA( i am sexy sexy), she can TURN AROUND a DECENT IMAGE too..

Latest NEWS: GOOD for rani fans:

She never aspired to be an actress, though her entire family for the two three generations have been in films. When a producer director, who happened to be a close family friend, offered her a role, she agreed to act in it "for a lark." But what people admired most about her was her 'no nonsense stand' and 'ever smiling face.' She was also considered 'bachchi' and everyone treated her like a 'li'l baby,' which she enjoyed thoroughly.

Considering that, Rani Mukherjee has done very well for herself. In fact, within no time, she has reached the top slot.

What's surprising is this Bengali girl's sudden attitude which is rubbing people the wrong way.

So this couldn't-care-less actress is fast learning the ways of stardom too. The 'kid 'actress has grown up and how?

But who would have thought that the chirpy actress, who's 'great pals' with every actor- male or female - would stab her best friend, the current reigning Bollywood queen, Aishwarya Rai, in the back?

At last count, the Mukherjee girl had replaced Ash in not one but four projects - Aziz Mirza's Chalte Chalte opposite Shahrukh Khan, Ketan Mehta's 1857 -The Rising opposite Aamir Khan, Vidhu Vinod Chopra's Munnabhai MBBS and recently, Sanjay Leela Bhandsali's Bajirao Mastani. As expected, the two have declared a cold war though publicly one finds them acknowledging each other's presence.

Is stardom more important than personal relationships? Rani's explanation is simple. "Ash had walked out of these projects, if not me, somebody had to do them. So what's the big deal?" Smart girl, Rani! hindustantimes.com

I don't think Salman will drop out of this film. He desperately needs a top film to make soon just to test the water on if he can get a hit. It's a gamble because many people don't want to see Salman, but I think Bhansali gave him this chance because he always liked Salman. This is mainly due to when his film Khamoshi flopped both Manisha Koirala and Nana Patekar blamed Bhansali and distanced themselves from the film as much as possible. But Salman was the only one who stuck with him. I think Bhansali feels sorry for Salman and wants to give him a chance.

If Hrithik pulled out of this film, I don't know why. It'd be a stupid move as I think Bajirao Mastani would be the film to revive his career. As his recent films show he certainly knows how to choose flops and if he keeps this up he'd be the flop king of bollywood (or is that Abhishek?).

With Nangu and Poo in the lead, this film is hopeless.
