Progressive, Anamorphic, OAR good quality Video.
Full bitrate DTS 5.1 sound.
No locking of player controls and no forced ads.
Anything else would be a bonus.

I don't think many, if any, DVDs feature DD and full bitrate 5.1. The vast majority of DD/DTS discs, including the Superbit discs, use half bitrate. Full bitrate would mean dual versions, DD and DTS.

Sorry my mistake! :nervous: I assumed 768kps was full rate DTS but not so - the full rate DTS is @ 1536kps.

Monsoon Wedding DTS track is @ 768kps.

I was recently watching Audrey Hepburn's classic Roman Holiday on DVD and its supplements also gave me another great idea inwhich Indian DVDs too should have on supplmentary disc. And that is, a feature showing "Making of the DVD" hosted by the DVD producers themselves. It was interesting on the Roman Holiday DVD to see how the original theatrical print differs from the DVD mastered copy and its results showed that the DVD had greater deatil and sharpness than the original print itself.

For this featurette to ever appear, the DVD producers would actually have to do some restoration!
