* Sholay (Re-Done ERO$ version is complete with alternate ending version, but quality is sub standard, DEI/ERO$ version is theatrical cut version)
* Lamhe (Re-Done ERO$, T-Series, MDE and Samrat versions all suck and some are cut)
* AKS (Re-Done ERO$ version is pathetic excuse for a DVD)

My wants:

* Dil Se (re-done in it's original aspect ratio)
* Pakeezah (re-done - previous versions are crap - again I'm looking for a quality OAR presentation)
* Amrapali (want - classic movie that I've never seen completly)
* Leader (re-done - my VCD is better than the DVD)
* Pukar b/w (want - classic film from the 1930's)
* Madhumati (re-done - YRF version sucks)
* All Guru Dutt films (re-daone - again YRF version suck)
* Dil Chahta Hai (re-done - with a solid transfer)
* Sholay (re-done - have 3 versions of this movie - all of them flawed!)
* Chitralekha (want - both versions of this movie)
* Sangam (re-done - YRF sucks)
* Teesri Manzil (re-done - Eros sucks)
* Lamhe (re-done - still waiting for a good version of this DVD)

hey muz are there 3 versions of Sholay?i though t there were only 2???ive seen the Eros DEI Version and the Eros B4U version but never heard of the 3rd version?whats the difference in it?

Hi - there were 2 releases by DEI/EROS of Sholay. The first had an unprocessed picture and average sound - the second was enhanced audio and they applied some sort of filtering on the picture to make it look better. Both were exactly the same aspect ratio and print ... I think that the second version by DEI also has subtitles. I bought the second version within weeks of getting the first version in the hope that it would be alot better - the sound was better on the scond version - but the picture was about the same on both versions.

i want an awesome version of Vaastav... this is one of the best movies out of Bollywood... only if it was a quality disc!!

is ANJALI on DVD yet? This was a oscar nominee movie of early 90's. Can anyone confirm this for me please. thanks.

Satte Pe Satta (Want)...I think this is already out, is it any good though?

JJWS is out by two companies : Media Digital and Neptune

Satte Pe Satta is out by Baba in 2 different versions :

1st version w/o subtitles or scene access
2nd version with subtitles and scene access with the word BABA in the left hand corner in bright white.

Both original aspect ratio but not upto standard quality :angry:
