hey guys and gals!!! i'm new to this joint. i come here almost everyday to see whats the latest in indian dvds. its not like i'm crazy bout indian movies, i like english movies too. in fact, i can copy some american dvds to video. i can copy most indian dvds to video, too. well, i called the indian store and they told me that saathiya and talaash is already out on dvd. i was really surprised to hear that. but the guy told me that the print is even worse then kaante. can anybody post some screen shots for those movies so i'll know to rent them or wait till jan 15-20 for the orig. saathiya to come out. peace!

you must be referring to the jackie shroff talaashi. i saw the pirated dvd of talaash last night. the quality was so so....a whole lot better then kaante, although talaash had no subtitles. i rented the saathiya video. the quality is ok...not the best and no subtitles. saathiya is really short...approx 135 minutes, while talaash is 156 min...and had alot of songs...every 5 minutes...its an ok film. the comedy was kinda lame, wasnt any significance to the film.

Good thing Saathiya is 135 minutes. I can't take the 3 hour plus films. One long film I enjoyed though was Gadar.

I can't believe they actually have the DVD of Saathiya out. Why do they have all these pirates, can't they be patient?

Indian movie viewers don't have patience they want to see it NOW!!!!!!

actually most movies out there are between 135 and 165 minutes. very few movies will be 3+ hours (lagaan, gadar, sholay, dil chahta hai, aks, lajja)..to name a few. hell you even have short ass movies under two hours...such as maseeha and ehsaas.

Bought the DvD of Talaash & Aap Ko Pehli Baar Kahi Dekha Hai yesterday.

Talaash released from Tip Top Video & AKPBKDH released from T-Series. I didn't got time to make some screengrabs, when I get home I'll do that & mail it to Ali.

The picture is average. Probably much more clearer on actual DVD. Better than the AKPBKDH DVD though.

whats the forthcoming film in teh talaash dvd? also, anybody think khushi will do good at teh BO? i'm saying it will do average. someone said earlier that boney kapoor films do good, but somehow i get a feeling it wont be that great. the songs are nice and so are the picturizations. will have to wait less then 2 weeks, and i hope teh pirate of Dum doesnt come out.
