It might sound as if I am having an orgasm (I wish) but a friend of mine order the Yaadein DVD from them today using his Visa Electron card (just available in the UK I think) and it went through.

I dont have a Mastercard or Visa card so I could only order if big sis was around. This means I can now order all those DVDs at darn good prices.

Just thought I'd inform others in case the thought they couldn't order. BTW has anyone had experience using the Electron card with those who accept Visa but apparently not Electron (bit like Solo and Switch I suppose).

you mean it was not accepted earlier? what is the difference? I thought Visa cards were accepted everywhere.

Electron is like a debit card and some retailers don't accept it (even though they accept the Visa credit card which would most likely use the same system)
Whether they did or not is a different matter since it doesn't state that it does, dunno why.

hahaha only if i knew about this about a year ago... i remember me and shehryaar (bollywooddvd) did an experiment where i bought a DVD of him for 1pence on my visa electron!! unfortunately it declined it!! But this is great news... for us cheapskate blacklisted twats with lavish lifestyles out there!! Visa Electron is a debit card that is given to people with poor credit rating like myself or people who havent got a large cashi inflow in their account... again like me... And last but not least for people who end up spending money that they do not have JUST LIKE ME!! hahahah quite funny indeed!! might try it just for the fun of it
