On a side note, DragunR2, I didn't realise you were Bengali! And there are already screenshots of Antarghaat posted earlier in the forums!

Oh come on Bhaskar... be a sport re :D ... If i am at the IW warehouse I can surely preview any DVDs I want to !... no questions abt that.,. but the problem is I dont know when I will be there... cos If I am there I will take my laptop and grab screenshots for as many dvds as I can !

Actually, Bhaskar, I'm not Bengali. I'm Tamilian, but I'm interested in movies from all over India. Bengali films happen to be some of the most artistic, no?

Sure they are, but you have to find the right ones........

And before you rent any, I don't think any of the DVDs have subtitles - Antarghaat definitely doesn't.

SKNath - why on earth will you be going to IW's warehouse? Have they given you a job? And I'm sorry, I'm not gonna be wasting my hard earned cash for others - I save that luxury for myself!!

Are any of these DVDs available for rent near you? I'll rent one or two Arjoe discs if nobody else can, but I can't post screenshots. I can only give a verbal review. I don't really have time to do it this week or next week, though.

Thats cos I have a plan of visiting Chicago later next year and Afzal has been asking me to visit him and his family for sometime now... so I gave it a thought and decided..why do use the old adage :-

Ek Teer se do nishaan....

As for getting a job there...i dont think so I can get a job tehre :)
And how does visiting IW warehouse has anything to do with spending ur hard earned cash for others ?.... This line of urs was trifle incomprehensible.... care to educate me abt it ? :bash:

I should have separated those two lines - they wer two totally unrelated comments.

If you're so close to Afzal that you are going to visit his family, couldn't you have given some input for the Angoor DVD whilst it was in the works?

A pity Afzal doesnt own IW.... cos if he had owned IW... it would have been great.... IW was authored by Kshitij and believe me... Afzal did send me a pre-relase copy of the DVD which never did show up ..( ahem Hardev and Nehaflix scenario) :D I would have shared my comments to him right away .... but now that the damage has been done, hopefully their remaining films they will do something abt it... I think Kshitij has taken note of the point that folks do care abt the film quality as much as other features in the film (like anamorphic, 5.1 etc. )

Theres a new report on Rediff.com saying that Aishwarya Rai is in Calcutta shooting for an adaptation of Rabindranath Tagore's 'Chhoker Bali'. This is very interesting - I dont know much about his work but rumors are that the movie is going to be shot in black and white. Anyone has more info?
