monizam,

the 2-in-1 have both movies on ONE side of the disc, and i believe the discs is dual layered. i haven't had any freezing problems save for the combo of Mujhse Dosti Karoge/Na Tum Jano Na Hum, where in the latter movie there was a scene which had several 'pausings' and then would just continue as normal. Slightly annoying, but it didn't stop the dvd player or anything, and it didn't skip anything. Hope that helps.

Does it indicate Disc Rot or Faulty recording?? Do they use gold media for these discs. If they are targetting to sell these DVDs cheap, wouldn't they use cheap media as well. May be they use Gold media for now but it may change any time??

2 in 1, 3 in 1, 4 in 1 etc haven't been around for that long.

I think, recompression, error, as these movies are not replicated movies!!

that little pausing problem happened the first time i watched ntjnh. and it happened during subsequent times. i would lean toward an encoding/recording error, not really a disc rot. i believe they are silver media.
