Dispute the charge with your credit card company. I did this with India Plaza awhile back when my DVDs never showed up. I never heard back from India Plaza, but I got the money credited back to my account.

unfortunately, not everyone is good at that!

Hardev, what duplicate govinda suggested is what i would do. If you've written them emails regarding this, then there is nothing further you can do. As someone else on these forums had the same problem, and after coming to zulm, they got their items. Hopefully you will get yours soon too. But if that's the case, it's definitely not the way to do business professionally.

best of luck!

Haven't had any problems with NX yet.. Hopefully wont either, or else will have get to dirtiest level..

this is their Shipping details...

USA - STANDARD POSTAL MAIL
2-3 DAYS PROCESSING AND 9-21 DAYS AVERAGE DELIVERY* .....hehehehe....dam thats too long....did u know that if you call your bank and tell them that some one charged your CC over the internet, without your permission, without any questions asked, they will take the charge off.....i talked to one of the accountant in bank and he told me that, when a customer purchase something over the internet, and if they call the bank claming they got charged, we will give your money back without even asking questions.....he gave an example about "Amason.com", that they looses 100s of thousands money every year cause everytime customers get something from them, once they receive it, they call the bank and claim they never recieved their product & the bank have to give their money back cause they dont have any proof or can find any, and guess what, the customers win.... :) i am not trying to get you into a fraud or anything, but i say you call the bank and tell them and i am sure you will get your money back....if nehaflix.com dont give you your money back, then the bank will make it up for them & they will file a case on Nehaflix until they pay up....cause there is a agreement in your card saying they will protect your privacy, if someone take money without asking you, they will re-emburse it....the bank wont ask for proof or anything....call em up and ask one of them...try it....good luck.... :)

Unfortunately, this is very typical of many of the problems so many of us have been having with Nehaflix. What started out as a promising company has now deteriorated into just another fly-by-night Indian company with absolutely no more respect left with the consumer base.

I was the person who ordered one tamil DVD and one Hindi DVD a while back and after more than a month of waiting when I didnt get it, I came to zulm. Obviously someone on here is at Nehaflix because I got my DVDs through express courier the next day after my post complaining about them. But yes, you are right. The consumer should not have to go on an internet board and bitch about them for them to finally take action.

You are going through the same thing I went through. They were very happy to charge my credit card, but no items showed up at my door. I wrote emails to them but they stopped responding. I dont know what we can do about this. Thank God India Weekly is around for us to turn to when all other DVD sellers betray us! Now I entered this forum strictly as a consumer interested in the DVD medium and Indian DVDs in particular so I am not affiliated with any retailer, but I have enough experience to judge their performance by now. I recently ordered a Tamil DVD from NX. That was around 2 weeks ago. I received it today. The same from IW has reached me in three days flat at regular mail cost. What is going on? Perhaps its better if we dont find out. Just move our business to some other retailer. That would be the answer. Perhaps NX can soothe the nerves of its frayed consumers by offering us free DVDs! Lets dream on.

WTF is going on here :) I replied as a joke and I find a can of worms opening up (in the space of 1 night :D)

Shuman now here is my point...if you publicize their site, I am presuming you know them quite well enuff... Maybe you should indeed put in a word for Hardev as it MAY help him eventually.
.....
and Thanks folks I dont like to waver from Afzal @ IW anymore... His C.S is the best always, anytime (and whatever CHAMCHAGIRI I may have done for him vis-a-vis some folks here on Zulm it actually helped those guys....)... Cheerz !

I'm from the UK, and seeing as the prices over here for dvds are pretty pricey, i thought i'd try nehaflix for the first time.

I ordered Dil Chahta Hai last Saturday, and it came Saturday just gone. Quite suprised, no customs charges either!!

Might wait for a bit though now before shopping again, seeing as some of you lot are currently having problems with them!
