I will try to get some more tonight...

Just a note in the chapter listing it states there are 20 but when watching there are actually 22 chapters.

Hi,
You dont pay vat unless the value of the goods you are importing is over £18 which is the allowance customs give you. In this case the value of the shakti dvd from IW is at the current time, 12.8024 GBP so there will be no chance that you will have to pay VAT on it so basically, I dont know what jolly saab is talking about.

Folks just a request if you are capturing screenshots...
Use the force weave mode in PowerDVD... to check if the encoding has been done in a progressive or an interlaced fashion,,,

Can you tell us if this is progressive or interlaced ???

Sknath Bhai,

Where about would you change it to capture in force weave mode? How would you check if it Progressive or Interlaced? Let me know and when I get home tonight I will and try to capture some more shots in the proper mode.

Go to the configuration menu in PowerDVD and under the video tab, select force weave.

Under video tab, select advance and then force weave, vs autoselect..just being a bit more precise!

Yeh UL... I think folks have given you the answer....

Right Button of ur mouse
Configuration
Video
Advanced settings
Force weave .. in that order

Now you will see that a DVD that has been coded in an interlaced fashion will give you flickering if you put it in an auto select mode and will give you combing in a force weave mode (thats cos your comp. monitor is progressive... something similar to what you can expect on your HDTV ! )

Ali request for you... When you do your reviews for any DVds in future can you do it by taking the screenshots in a Force weave mode.. so that it is evident that the DVD is progressive or interlaced...

Come on Arsh, you gotta pull up your socks. I was offered Shakti on Saturday, but I unfortunately had to come back to uni in NYC; so I couldn't rent it. But I'll still proceed to count that one against you! :D :tounge:
And btw, don't forget to include those hot Antra's navel shots when you do the captures for road. I can hardly wait!

If the overall presentation of the Shakti DVD is anything to go by, than easily expect the same(shit) qualities on the Devdas DVD.

EROS's JOSH, HAR DIL JO PYAR KAREGA, RAJU CHACHA were progressive and anamorpic as well. May be they were authored by DEI and EROS got hands on those masters at the time of the split??
