Shakti The Power is releasing 9/30. Hehe . Even before Devdas comes out. Lets see if Eros keeps the date for this one.

Looks like a 2 Disc edition is released for total running time of 6 Hours and 30 mins.

Second Disc features:
- 30 songs from movies of Boney Kapoor
- Making of Shakti
- Making of the song, Ishq Kamina
- Forth coming Bollywood Films

Everyone is always saying why the h*ll didnt ERO$ put their supplements on a 2nd disc thus improving the quality of the main feature. Now when they are doing this people want everything on one disc??? what gives?

No disrepsect taken :)

The reason I said why dont they just release it all on one disc is............well, face it - it's an Eros DVD. By just having the movie on one disc and the extras on another is gonna make no difference whatsoever to the quality of the movie. It's gonna be the same shit that Eros always churn out. If DEI were to release this in a two disc set, then I would be willing to pay the extra cash for it, cos I would be able to expect excellent quality. But Eros are more than likely to come up with the same crap again and again. The quality would probably be the same if they split the movie onto two discs. So, I just thought they should stick everything onto one disc and reduce the price!

Just thought I would explain my opinion!

I agree with u BHASKAR! 2 Disc or 3 DISC are to SHOW OFF, FAT PACKINGS! ASGM, AJNABEE, AKS, etc!!

Bakre ke BHESS maan! BHEDIYA ..bhaiya! Marketing strategy! to earn more money!
Who cares of Quality!

BTW! DEI's last @ disc offering..EK RISHTA was a GIMMICK too, SINGLE DISC was the same Transfer! hmm! :baaa: :stupid: :bangbang: :ffs: :angry: ???

I know unfortunetly it is a marketing gimmick they are using but one can only hope :doze: Ever since the dismiss of DEI ERO$ and possibly along with Yashraj (due to their film library) are the only two companies who we can hope that will hopefully come out with some decent DVDs. Come out with one disc version or two disc versions either way they will rip you off. Just dont but it right away and when IW drop the price...buy it, thats all I can say.

I dont know if I should give up hope or not. There has to be someone out there who will deliver good indian DVDs.

Anyone? (all silent crickets making a small raket) :sus:

Plus the fact that these "special features" are totally useless. 30 best boney kapoor songs? 45 best sons of Aish, Madhuri, and SRK (Devdas dvd-wise). What's the point?

i saw shakti on dvd yestorday and the sound/picture was ok the only good thing in the second disc was the making of the song ishq kamina and some boney kapoor songs :ffs:

Listen to the Dude Faddy he knows the score - If u ordered the DVD today - India weekly will have it shipped out latest Mon/Tue - In your hands by Friday Latest Saturday - No Arseing about - Hence EROS/Jolly etccc!!!!!!
