I've been renting from them for 2 months now and can't wait to cancel it when i get close to the end of 2nd month as they seem to encourage pirated DVDs in Telugu. For example, VASU is expected to be released by EVP in a week or two and they are already rent and selling pirated DVD.

How is IndoFilms.com for renting? Are there any other choices for Telugu DVDs?

Don't know about Telugu since I watch only Hindi films but INDOFILMS is just about okay. I was with INDIANMOVIES also and their selection was mediocre for new flicks and customer service sucked. I had to go through hell to cancel(typical desi customer service-bunch of jackasses). Indofilms is starting to get on my nerves though, at first they would send DVDs as soon as I stated I have put them in the mail, now they wait 2 days and then send it. Considering I live in Ohio that usually takes 4-5 days for the DVD to get here. Also it seems Indofilms has no clue when films are releasing on DVD and just post bogus DVD release dates. Choosing one is like choosing the lesser of 2 evils so it's ur pick really.

Hero76, Hows IndoFilms customer service? How is their hindi collection?Quality?

Besides Indiamovies & Indofilms, are they any comparable rental service..you know flat monthly fee, get another dvd while one is on its way to them et all.

I have bought a few DVDs from Indofilms and have got it without any hassles.

I am thinking of becoming a member as I don't want to waste money buying new releases as most of them are crappy films. Might as well rent them.

Indofilm's customer service is that of any DESI place: crappy. Their selection is okay, but getting a new film sent is difficult and most good-old films are rarely in stock either. Since it's only 12 bucks a month I don't get too ticked off. I sent them an email ranting about how they don't carry any new movies and how their shipping policy has changed. I questioned why this has changed and have not got a response. It has been 4 days already. Also one time a movie arrived late(no fault of mine since I knew when I put it in the mailbox) and they threatened to not ship any new movies until the movie was received. Some trust they have in their customer! Of course I sent 2 emails regarding this and never got a response. Their phone number is bogus too, oddly enough noone is ever there to pick it up, even if you call during business hours. I may cancel my INdofilms account if this crap keeps up so I can't say I really recommend it anymore.

LOL...so where does that leave me? So if you were to recommend between Indianmovies and indofilms..who would you suggest..i guess lesser of the two evils...
