I'm organizing a South Asian film festival with a few other people and was wondering if you have any pointers on getting prints and contacting the rights holders. We are planning on having a mix of independent films (including shorts and documentaries), art films, and a few classics. I'm also going to email some people who have done similar festivals in the past.

We also need sponsors, and while we have a list of possible ones, I want to find out if there are any companies that are known to do sponsorship.

Some of the films we are thinking about showing are:

Sholay
Bawandar
Karz
Amar Akbar Anthony
Split Wide Open
Hyderabad Blues

Who would I contact about renting a print of these films?

For renting the film you might have to contact the UK cinema right owners, and you might have to pay a fee to them for showing the 35mm print films.

i just wanted to suggest the movies lagaan,1947earth,sarfarosh,dch,jjws,raakh and ghulam thare are more aamir movies wich is veeeery the best!
