An interesting fact abt this movie.
If you guys have followed the movie, "Kittam Kittu" (Satyanarayana) and "Radha" (Sridevi) sometimes are in TELUGU !!!

Can somebody verify whether Chaalia (Raj Kapoor) Shemaroo DVD is single layered OR double layered (size more than 4.35GB)?

Thanks in advance....

It's Single Layer. Only 155 min version.

Just received the Ultra version the other day, sadly it's not as promising as good as the cover art was, picture quality is ok & sound is awful so I'd rather stick to the Shemaroo.

For hardcore filmbuffs only, esp those given to celluloid nostalgia.

Just abt 5 hours back, ULTRA have uploaded on youtube the complete complete KARMA, featuring the very rare 2min 15s lead-in (prologue) showcased in miniature frame in the center of the screen, at the end of which the frame opens to fill up the full CINEMASCOPE screen edge to edge.

Even Zee, which has an enviable catalog of legacy Hindi films doesn't have this leadin in their print of Karma seen on ZEE5.

Most home entertainment versions start from the point the title KARMA fills up the entire screen.

Do the ULTRA SHEMAROO DVDs have this bit?

Enjoy. ULTRA YouTube version is correct aspect ratio, but audio seems mono.
