Of course, you don't want to watch bad VHS quality or good VHS quality content on your Hi-Def 1080P/ OLED/ QLED/ 2K/ 4K screens. Hardly enough Indian film content is on Blu Ray. Most of the Indian DVDs don't do justice to your screen. But, I was pleasantly surprised to see good quality Progressive DVDs (mostly DEI, many Super Digital, Other occasional ones) displaying great picture, hardly noticeable that it's not 1080P content.
