I kept searching and realized that there aren't any threads constructed with screenshots of these titles. Not even proper information is available on the forum.

How was the audio/video reproduction on these titles?

Thanks.

Only a handful of Bollywood B/W DVDs are Progressive.

Dil Bhi Tera Hum Bhi Tere, by DEI/ BEI, I remember is Progressive DVD.

DEI/ BEI's Kohinoor and Bees Saal Baad, at lest one of these is Progressive. I don't have access to these DVDs for another 5-6 weeks, so can't verify until then.

Oops! All this while I've been mixing up "Dil Tera Hum Bhi Tere" with "Jabse Tumhen Dekha Hai"
And, I was overwhelmed with the fact that a Geeta Bali starter has received a DEi treatment. Nonetheless, DTHBT too is worth collecting for the gem "Mujhko Is Raat Ki Tanhayi Mein".

Still have Kohinoor and Dil Tera Hum Bhi Tere
Have shemaroo version of Jabse Tumhen Dekha Hai

I had the DEI Kohinoor ; it froze but I was able to get it exchanged for another DEI plus the Ultra version, Not sure if it is a pirated dei version but it is good,
Dil bhi has excellent picture too but I was not enjoying it so I just flipped thru the songs.
I will watch it tonight from start to end.
I did the same with two Meena Kumari movies- Kinare Kinare and Saang aur Saavera several years ago but watched both on seperate nights this week.
They were very beautiful movies so I will watch Dil bhi again and let you know

Thanks for your feedback! I would rather own an unofficial DEi DVD of such movies that shitty Moserbaer/Priya/etc. alternatives. Moserbaer DVDs I own really make me puke + cry.
In fact, even DVD rips of DEi DVDs are much better than most mosrebaer prints.

I believe the Shemaroo DVDs of Jab Se Tumhe isn't that great.

DEI Dil Bhi Tera Hum Bhi Tere (147 min)
DEI Bees Saal Baad (144 min)
DEI Kohinoor (151 min; part of beginning credits missing)

all three are Progressive DVDs. (Obviously no speed shift). All three DVDs are excellent prints. Dil Bhi Tera Hum Bhi Tere is best print of these three followed by Kohinoor and then Bees Saal Baad.

I just cannot understand how a frozen Bees Saal Baad dvd is considered excellent

FOR ONE LAST TIME, MR/ MS SASURAL:
I'M REFERRING TO DVD'S IN MY HAND AND THEY DO PLAY OK UNTIL NOW. THEY ARE ON GOLD MEDIA AND I PAID AROUND $ 20 FOR EACH, MORE THAN 12 YRS AGO.

WE ALL KNOW YOUR DVDS WITH DEI/ BEI LOGO THAT YOU BOUGHT FOR AROUND $ 2 HAVE BEEN FREEZING ON YOU (I TOO ENCOUNTERED MANY FROZEN DVDS THAT I BOUGHT CHEAP, AFTER DEI/ BEI'S DEMISE AND HENCE WAS FULLY AWARE OF THEIR DUBIOUS ORIGIN) AND I WAS SPECIFICALLY REPLYING TO ANOTHER MEMBER'S (RAGZ) REQUEST, NOT YOURS.

I HAVE IGNORED YOUR POSTS FOR A VERY VERY LONG TIME AND PLEASE DON'T EXPECT ME TO REPLY TO YOUR POSTS EVER AGAIN.

THANKS

Thanks for this useful bit of information! You've done me a great favor. Also, I'm glad you were able to find a working copy of Abhay.
Good luck with these DVDs! :)

Seems like you have been under the influence of rumors. I bought many of my DEI dvds from Indian plaza.com and they are still playing. I did buy a bunch direct from DEI and included with the DEI dvds were SKY dvds and they all froze. I do not appreciate your claim about buying DEI dvds for 2.00 after their demise.
